General description and main responsibilities
To strengthen our Digital Hardware team, we are looking for several mid-level and senior Digital IC Designers (m/f). Reporting directly to the engineering director, the selected candidates will integrate the existing digital team, work closely with the system architects and mixed signal team. He/She will be involved in all activities including architectural design and strategic decisions regarding the specific project, edge technology digital design implementations, simulations and verification of complex designs leading to successful field proven products. The ideal applicants should be familiar to deal in working within a multicultural environment and teams displaced over multiple global locations.
Minimum requirements
- Engineering master degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Computer science
- Proven 3+ years of experiences as digital designer;
- Proficiency to design using Verilog and SystemVerilog or VHDL
- Experience with RTL simulations
- Experience with development tools for FPGA RTL synthesis and debug
- Knowledge of Design For Testability (DFT) techniques
- Basic Experiences in Digital Signal Processing
- Proven communication/interpersonal skills
- English language written and spoken
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to achieve deadlines
Candidates with higher educational degree (PhD) and/or extensive professional experience involving similar requirements are strongly encouraged to apply since the related skills will be strongly taken into account within the fast-growing context of the THESS IC organization.
Highly preferred skills (plus)
- Experience in UVM process and Coverage-Driven Constrained Random functional verification
- Knowledge of some commercial FPGA family
- Matlab
- Software development using C/C++
- Script programming language (e.g. perl, shell, phyton)
